None waited around for an ambulance – but were instead driven to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in private vehicles.

The first victim, an 18-year-old city man, was wounded at the corner of East 24th Street and 15th Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, March 19, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora said in a joint release.

Shortly after 4 a.m. on Sunday, a 26-year-old woman from Paterson showed up at St. Joe’s after being shot near the corner of Beech Street and Essex Street, they said.

It was around 2 p.m. on Sunday when a 29-year-old man, also from Paterson, was shot at Mercer and Keen streets.

None of the victims’ injuries were life-threatening, Valdes and Baycora said.

The prosecutor and police chief didn’t say whether any suspects had been arrested or identified.
